Symphony Maestro is a cross domain service orchestrator in the Nuviso Symphony Suite. It supports a micro-service architecture for hosting multiple high level cross domain service packages. Provides a unified view of the topology and acts as a single pane of glass for management across multiple domains. Maestro supports a model driven northbound API for invocation of services using TOSCA, GBP or Yang.
Symphony Interlude is a key component of Nuviso Symphony Suite that offers a programmable interface to traditional networking gear without any forklift or image upgrades. It can function as a standalone platform that offers rich RESTCONF northbound APIs that are based on IETF / OpenConfig Yang models. It communicates with the network nodes on the southbound using CLI, Netconf, REST and SNMP. Symphony Interlude offers a data-driven plugin architecture (patent pending) that makes the process of adding support to newer devices, or yang models highly simplified, without having the need to write new platform code.
Symphony Vivace is an ETSI compliant MANO platform. It works with Openstack, vCenter and Azure. Symphony Vivace abstracts cloud infrastructure platforms and provides a single interface to Symphony Maestro to enable true Cross Domain Orchestration. It is responsible for complete VNF lifecycle management including Instantiation, Modification, Starting and Stopping of Virtual Services, along with Creation and Management of Virtual Machines used for hosting VNFCs . Vivace supports agentless Day-0 provisioning of VNFs. It works with Symphony Interlude component for Day-1/2 access to the VNF’s deployed. It supports Multi Site, Multi Tenant Cloud and Data Center Deployment. Micro-Services Architecture for Managing different Types of VIMs without having to re-write anything in the Orchestration Logic.
Symphony Allegro provides network visibility of SDN networks through a single pane of glass. It manages controllers from multiple vendors and presents a coherent view of the entire network Allegro interacts with the Consonance, downloads the purchased Apps to the App Repository, and deploys them on to the corresponding network. It monitors the health of the controllers as well as the Apps.
Symphony Consonance is a highly scalable App Repository. It is a portal which presents users the capability to publish as well as purchase Apps. Users can choose Apps suitable to their needs and subscribe/purchase them. They can provide feedback on the Apps and also have their issues and questions addressed. As part of the publishing process, applications are validated and certified against well-defined constraints using open source and vendor specific standards. In addition App analysis is performed for controller version compatibility, infrastructure dependency and compliance. Vendors have role-based access to their suite of Apps and can manage the entire App life cycle. They can create promotions, as well as feature their Apps prominently in the AppStore.
